A Small Poetry Collection

What's up guys! I have definitely been lacking on my blog here, but will be trying to change that. Starting here!

So, if you're following me on Instagram, you probably saw my story post yesterday about wanting to post some of my older writing! So the longer version of that is basically; I have a lot of old work that originally was probably never going to see the light of day. I was very hesitant to post it because all of it came from very dark moments in my high school experience, so obviously it's very dark and very personal. In a sense, the only people I have showed these too, used them as power over me and I refuse to let that happen again.

I love writing my poetry, and of course eventually I want to publish it, but this collection of pieces doesn't fit to what I want my book to be. So in the last few hours, I took the time to get together all of the pieces I knew I would not use. Honestly, it was a bigger number than I'd expected, in total I gathered 25 poems that I wanted to share.

Please know that I'm not sharing these in an attempt to call attention to these situations. They have happened, I have felt horrid in moments of my life, but I am learning and moving forward. If you are taking the time to read this, and these poems, thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I appreciate you so incredibly dearly.
