Bloom

Everything is blooming

The flowers rise and shine

The trees sprout

The sweet smells drift on the breeze

And through your nose

Drowning you in returning nostalgia.

Good and bad.

Memories of the two of you sitting together,

Gripping his hand, until it’s all okay again.

As good as the memories used to feel,

Now, they just remind you of a brokenhearted girl he left behind.
